Job summary

LTS is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to manage the architectural design of its commercial AWS platform. This full-time remote position involves ensuring security compliance, deployment portability, and enhancing internal developer experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, experience with regulatory pressures like FedRAMP, and proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as CDK or Terraform.

Qualifications

• 10 years of professional infrastructure or platform engineering experience.
• Experience managing production systems, including being on call.
• Deep knowledge of AWS and strong infrastructure-as-code experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the architectural shape of the platform including VPC and serverless compute.
• Ensure security and compliance with federal identity standards.
• Translate regulatory pressures into concrete infrastructure decisions.
