Job summary

Arch Systems in a remote-first setup seeks a Staff Platform Engineer to design, secure, and operate the cloud infrastructure powering customer deployments, with a focus on regulated environments and production operations. You'll own IAM, networking, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and incident response, collaborating across security and compliance teams while helping scale trusted platforms for global customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Platform/DevOps/SRE or related roles with independent ownership.
• Hands-on AWS production experience and IaC ownership (Terraform).
• Experience operating Kubernetes workloads and Helm deployments.
• Strong cloud security fundamentals: IAM, networking, encryption, monitoring.
• Experience with incident response, runbooks, and release processes.
• Ability to translate security/compliance requirements into infra changes.

Responsibilities

• Own compliance engineering for FedRAMP High-aligned environments.
• Design, deploy, and operate cloud infra across AWS GovCloud and AWS.
• Maintain CI/CD, Helm charts, deployment pipelines, and automation.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with security/compliance teams.
