Job summary

Arch Systems is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and AWS GovCloud. You will own compliance-driven deployment workflows, runbooks, and incident response as part of a remote-first platform team.

You will contribute to infrastructure automation, security controls, release operations, and ongoing compliance initiatives for regulated customers, with a focus on FedRAMP High-aligned environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (including GovCloud) and Terraform.
• Kubernetes-based workloads, Helm deployments, and incident response experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, operate, and secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and AWS GovCloud.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and manage Kubernetes-based workloads.
• Support regulated deployments (FedRAMP High-aligned) and compliance evidence workflows.
• Improve reliability, monitoring, runbooks, and deployment safety for platform systems.
