Job summary

Connection has a strategic opportunity for a Principal Solution Sales Executive, a remote direct hire role focused on high-level solution sales across hardware, software, networking, cloud, virtualization, and services. You will drive complex conversations at the C/S-Level and pursue new business in assigned accounts.

Ideal candidates will be located in Texas or surrounding central states, with 25-50% travel. Realistic 1st-year OTE is $250K–$300K+, with strong growth potential beyond.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a similar role or IT director level with solution sales experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of IT and OEM vendors.
• Experience in datacenter technology including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud and services.
• Proven ability to develop and grow customer accounts and meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients within targeted accounts and strategically align solutions with business outcomes.
• Develop short- and long-term solution strategies for clients.
• Support all sales segments to sell complex technology solutions (hardware, software, services).
• Maintain relationships with Account Managers, COE, vendors, and customers.
• Lead the complex solution sale process including deal registration, negotiations, and presentations.
• Deliver presentations promoting capabilities and value of Connection as a solutions provider.
• Set up customer meetings and pursue new opportunities while fostering long-term relationships.
• Grow existing accounts and develop new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Develop sales strategies to deliver revenue and GP targets within defined accounts.
