Job summary

Strata Consulting is recruiting an experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join a highly regarded multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. This is a fully remote, UK-wide role delivering geotechnical design packages across civil, infrastructure and development projects.

You will lead ground investigations interpretation, develop ground models and design foundations, retaining structures and earthworks, working to Eurocode 7 and UK standards with autonomy and support for junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Significant geotechnical design experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Senior/Principal level experience and ability to lead.
• Strong grounding in Eurocode 7 and UK geotechnical standards.
• Proven ability to interpret ground data and develop models.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical design packages from ground investigation to construction support.
• Develop geotechnical ground models from investigation data.
• Design foundations, retaining structures and earthworks.
• Produce detailed calculations and technical reports.
