Job summary

NBH Bank is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain web and back-end solutions. You will mentor teammates and drive projects, coordinating with production staff to handle outages and incidents.

You will translate business requirements into robust architectures, implement end-to-end solutions, and maintain thorough documentation. A strong foundation in Python, SQL, HTML/CSS, RESTful APIs, and AWS is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• 8+ years of relevant job experience, preferred in a bank setting.
• Experience developing automation solutions using Python.
• Experience writing clean and semantic SQL.
• Solid understanding of core web, browser, and styling concepts.
• Experience writing clean and semantic HTML and CSS.
• Experience interfacing with enterprise systems via RESTful APIs and standard data formats (JSON, XML, SOAP).
• Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to diagnose and prevent these problems.
• Solid understanding of relational data and/or non-relational models.
• Experience with CI/CD using AWS CodePipeline.
• Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures and SDLC pipelines.
• Familiar with Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, document, and maintain web and back-end software solutions.
• Mentor less experienced team members and coordinate project tasks.
• Translate business requirements and wireframes into architecture and components.
• Implement, test and deliver the solution; create and maintain documentation.
• Identify, triage, and resolve errors and defects; estimate complexity and divide tasks.
• Perform code reviews and promote best practices and standards.
