Job summary

NBH Bank in the United States is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, deploy, document, and maintain web and back-end software solutions. As a principal level associate, you will mentor less experienced team members and drive project coordination, outage management, and delivery of features.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent, 8+ years in banking or tech, strong SQL, HTML/CSS, RESTful APIs, and experience with CI/CD using AWS CodePipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a bank setting.
• Experience writing clean and semantic SQL.
• Experience writing clean and semantic HTML and CSS.
• Experience interfacing with enterprise systems via RESTful APIs and standard data formats (JSON, XML, SOAP).
• Experience with performance and optimization problems and ability to diagnose and prevent them.
• Solid understanding of relational and/or non-relational data models.
• Experience with CI/CD using AWS CodePipeline.
• Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures and SDLC pipelines.
• Familiar with Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, document, and maintain web and back-end software solutions.
• Serve as a mentor for less experienced team members and drive project coordination.
• Translate business requirements and wireframes into architecture and components.
• Convert technical requirements into solution design and deliver the solution.
• Create and maintain documentation for the solutions built and perform code reviews.
• Champion best practices and standards and ensure timely delivery.
