RealTime eClinical Solutions is a glob al SaaS leader based in San Antonio, TX, offering remote opportunities. We seek a Principal DevOps Architect who defines the cloud platform, sets standards for CI/CD and AI tooling, and writes the code yourself while mentoring peers.

This role emphasizes reliability, security, and scalable multi‑tenant infrastructure across environments. You will drive IaC adoption, design AWS deployments, and govern AI/ML platform operations with strict compliance to HIPAA

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SRE/DevOps/platform engineering with senior or architect level.
• Proven authority across teams; influence through expertise and example.
• Experience driving IaC, CI/CD and AI platform adoption across multiple teams.
• Knowledge of HIPAA / SOC 2 Type II compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define platform architecture and tech roadmap for infra, deployment, observability, and AI platform.
• Set standards and golden paths for IaC, CI/CD, AI tooling with reference implementations.
• Mentor engineers, lead by example, and participate in on-call incident response.
• Drive move to IaC and AI tooling; manage risk from unvetted AI tools.
• Oversee build/buy decisions for platform tooling and vendor evaluation.
