Job summary

The position reports to the CTO and offers a remote-first environment with national coverage and a salary range of $148k–$187k per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record delivering production systems end-to-end in hands-on engineering roles.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments with limited structure or resources.
• Experience overseeing contractors, vendors, or distributed teams.
• Exposure to healthcare environments, HIPAA/PHI/BAA considerations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Partner with CTO to translate technical vision into execution plans and priorities.
• Own initiatives end-to-end, from concept through production, using AI-assisted development.
• Direct and quality-check work from contractors and vendors, mentoring a blended team.
• Build guardrails and QA processes for AI-generated work handling patient data.
• Design and implement transition from Salesforce to an internal platform with data integrity.
