MAXIMUS is seeking a Principal DevOps Architect to provide technical leadership across enterprise DevOps, cloud architecture, containerization, software delivery, and automation. You will establish architecture and engineering best practices and partner with development, cloud, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions supporting enterprise and government programs.

This is a fully remote position with 15% travel.

Qualificações

• 15+ years enterprise IT experience with solution architecture, cloud platforms, software development, integration, and government program experience preferred.
• Strong coding skills with .NET 4 and .NET 8+; JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Vue.js.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with OIDC, SAML 2.0, and JWT authentication.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement DevOps and Containerization best practices, release pipelines, and automation across the enterprise.
• Serve as a thought leader in assessing business needs and aligning them with industry best practices.
• Mentor DevOps Engineering team to promote excellence and best practices.
• Define and implement the configuration management system supporting the SDLC.
• Manage source code with version control, branching, merging, and packaging; mentor others.
• Collaborate with Cloud Services to perform installations/upgrades/deployments/containers.
• Develop automation scripts for build, deployment, and versioning.
• Resolve complex technical problems related to VCS and CI systems.
• Work with developers, testers, and IT staff to automate builds, deployments, and CI environments.
• Oversee large, technically complex projects and ensure service delivery excellence.
