Maximus is seeking a Principal DevOps Architect to provide technical leadership across enterprise DevOps, cloud architecture, containerization, software delivery, and automation. This role will establish architecture and engineering best practices, guide complex technology initiatives, and partner with development, cloud, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions supporting enterprise and government programs.

This is a fully remote position with 15% travel.

Qualificações

• 15+ years enterprise IT experience with solution architecture, cloud platforms, software development, integration, delivery leadership, and government program experience preferred.
• Strong architecture and design skills across DevOps, cloud, CI/CD, and security best practices.
• Experience leading and mentoring DevOps teams and driving large, complex programs.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement DevOps and containerization best practices, pipelines, and automation across the enterprise.
• Lead technical initiatives and align them with business goals and customer requirements.
• Mentor the DevOps Engineering team and promote competency and excellence.
• Define, develop, and implement the configuration management system supporting the SDLC.
• Manage source code in VCS, build, package, and mentor in release practices.
• Collaborate with Cloud Services on installations, upgrades, deployments, and containerization.
• Develop automation scripts for build, deployment, and versioning activities.
• Resolve complex issues in version control and CI systems.
• Work with developers, testers, and IT staff to automate builds, deployments, CI environments, and releases.
• Oversee large, technically complex projects and ensure service delivery excellence.
• Proven ability to work with government programs and navigate related compliance.
