Job summary

MRIoA is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to lead Azure infrastructure across the organization. You will set engineering standards, governance practices, and drive complex cloud initiatives from design through delivery, while mentoring Systems Administration and Information Security teams.

You will partner with development teams to deliver scalable application infrastructure, enforce IaC discipline, and ensure compliance with HITRUST, SOC2, and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of infrastructure, systems, or cloud engineering experience.
• 5+ years in senior or principal Azure roles.
• Experience establishing cloud engineering governance.
• Expert-level knowledge of Azure networking and security.
• Proven ability to architect Azure environments.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform or Azure Bicep) and CI/CD.
• Ability to lead cloud migration projects and mentor teams.
• Familiarity with HITRUST, SOC2, HIPAA compliance.
• Strong communication and decision-making under pressure.
