Job summary

North is seeking a Principal Cloud & AIOps Engineer to lead the architecture, automation, and resilience of its multi-cloud infrastructure. You will apply AI/ML to build self-healing, scalable systems while upholding stringent security and compliance standards.

You’ll drive IaC/CI/CD practices (Terraform, Ansible), implement observability pipelines, and collaborate with DevOps, Site Reliability, Product Engineering, and InfoSec teams to optimize cloud workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with extensive hands-on experience in AWS.
• Deep expertise in Linux systems administration (RHEL, Ubuntu) and enterprise automation.
• Production experience using Terraform and Ansible for IaC and configuration management.
• Proven experience implementing AIOps frameworks, ML models for anomaly detection, or AI-driven observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect, optimize, and maintain AWS and multi-cloud environments for maximum availability, DR, and cost efficiency.
• Design and implement AIOps platform capabilities and self-healing remediation workflows using AI/ML tooling.
• Establish IaC and CI/CD standards to streamline secure software delivery.
• Enforce zero-trust perimeters and PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
