Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Cloud Computing Engineer Principal (MCCF-Healthcare Systems) to lead Azure cloud design, implementation, and security for VA environments. This is a fully remote, U.S.-based, full-time position requiring top-tier DevOps expertise and a Public Trust clearance.

You will design scalable Azure infrastructure, manage identities, networks, storage, and databases, develop CI/CD pipelines, and apply HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST controls to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in designing Azure infrastructure and services.
• Experience with large-scale, highly available cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, FedRAMP, NIST, GDPR, and PCI DSS.

Responsibilities

• Create data and cloud architecture diagrams for Azure infrastructure and cloud-hosted systems.
• Design, deploy, and operate CI/CD automation for VAEC environments.
• Manage and control permissions in cloud services and resources.
• Implement monitoring and security controls to meet VA/Federal policies.
