Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is hiring a Cloud Computing Engineer Principal focused on MCCF-Healthcare Systems to support VA enterprise cloud environments. This remote role requires deep Azure expertise and strong DevOps practices to drive secure, scalable cloud solutions for federal healthcare workloads.

The position emphasizes architecture design, automation, monitoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet HIPAA, FedRAMP, NIST, GDPR, and PCI DSS standards within VA cloud

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
20+ years of professional Azure/cloud experience.

Responsibilities

Create data flow diagrams and cloud architecture diagrams for cloud infrastructures and systems.
Design, develop, deploy, and operate CI/CD automation.
Manage cloud permissions for each cloud application and storage resource.
Implement, manage, and design monitoring for cloud architectures and VAEC environments.
Provide Cloud support services for VAEC Azure Governed environments and ensure VIP requirements.
