The role focuses on orchestrating generative and multimodal AI models, designing scalable processing pipelines, improving inference efficiency, and establishing automated evaluation and quality controls for enterprise media

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of production systems.
• Hands-on experience deploying generative AI or multimodal AI systems in production.
• Experience delivering architecture direction for systems with multiple engineers.
• Ability to design scalable media processing pipelines and large-scale AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of AI-powered media processing pipelines from ingestion to delivery.
• Design scalable orchestration systems across LLMs, speech, translation, and video models.
• Define service boundaries, data models, and design documentation for reliability.
• Evaluate models and decide build, buy, or integrate needs for production use.
• Conduct structured benchmarks on quality, latency, and cost prior to deployment.
• Build modular pipelines enabling vendor substitution with minimal changes.
• Optimize inference costs, latency, and throughput across large catalogs.
• Implement resilient workflows with retries and fallback mechanisms.
