Job summary

Curai is hiring a 1099 contracted physician to provide virtual-first primary care across the United States. You’ll deliver patient-centered care via video visits, live chats, and secure messaging, supported by Curai’s AI-powered clinical tools and EMR.

You should be board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine with 5+ years of primary care experience and an active multi-state license. Remote work, strong communication, and independent teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician (MD or DO) required.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required.
• Active, unrestricted physician licenses in a minimum of 15 states.
• Remote work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual assessments and care across ages via text and video visits.
• Manage and coordinate care for chronic conditions.
• Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
• Prescribe medications per state and federal regulations.
• Handle referrals and prior authorizations.
• Document encounters thoroughly in the EMR.
• Maintain HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
