Job summary

Daikin Applied seeks a Pricing Director to lead strategic pricing across its product portfolio. Remote, preferably MN, with a strong emphasis on revenue growth and margin expansion.

You will define pricing strategy, govern discounts, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product, and Supply Chain to ensure market-fit pricing and successful go-to-market execution. Leadership of pricing transformation is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
• 10+ years pricing, finance, or commercial strategy with leadership of pricing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to drive change.
• Experience leading pricing ops and transforming pricing systems (CPQ/ERP).
• Proven ability to deliver enterprise-wide pricing strategies and growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to build an enterprise pricing organization and transform pricing.
• Define pricing strategy across products, regions, and customer segments.
• Oversee discount governance, deal pricing, and policy design to protect margins.
• Train teams and deliver company-wide pricing communications to the field.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and Digital on pricing updates.
• Align with Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales on go-to-market pricing.
• Monitor pricing KPIs and support planning, forecasting, and margin analysis.
• Provide pricing expertise across Daikin entities and markets.
