WAHVE LLC is seeking experienced pricing actuaries for remote, long-term roles. The positions leverage your substantial insurance background to develop and refine pricing models for Property & Casualty products while collaborating with underwriting, finance and claims teams.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience.
• 10 most current years of actuarial pricing experience in P&C.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, statistics, or related major.
• Proficiency in predictive modeling and machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine pricing models to assess risk and profitability for Property & Casualty products.
• Monitor and analyze datasets of existing products, including experience and exposure rating, and adjust pricing models as needed.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Finance, Reserving and Claims to support pricing and growth strategies.
• Support development and filing of rate changes with regulatory bodies.
• Extract and manipulate data in relational databases using SAS, SQL, VBA, R, Prophet, Python or similar.
• ACAS or FCAS designation preferred but not required.
