Job summary

WAHVE is seeking experienced actuarial professionals to work from home in a long-term remote role. The assignments support actuarial analysts for insurance carrier clients, focusing on pricing, forecasting, and product development.

Ideal candidates will have 25 years of full-time work experience and 10+ years in commercial lines pricing for Property & Casualty, with a Bachelor's in actuarial science or related fields. Remote, full- or part-time schedules are available, with company benefits.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time actuarial work experience.
• 10 most current years of actuarial experience with commercial lines pricing in P&C.
• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, statistics, or related major.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing studies to evaluate profitability and analyze trends.
• Lead state and product rate reviews and filings by interpreting rate changes.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Product Management, Sales, Finance and others to expand product offerings.
• Develop reserve assumptions and forward-looking drivers for experience assessment.
• Develop rating methodologies for existing and new products.
• Extract and manipulate data in relational databases using SAS/SQL/VBA/R or Python.
