Job summary

United Automobile Insurance Company seeks a Pricing Actuary Lead (open rank) to drive pricing strategy and execution for a diverse auto portfolio. You will collaborate with Product, Underwriting, Analytics, and Claims to shape rate adequacy and profitability in a fast-paced non-standard auto market.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in P&C pricing, strong modeling skills, and regulatory acumen, with a remote-first setup oriented to the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Pricing experience in P&C insurance with emphasis on auto pricing.
• Deep understanding of pricing methods, loss cost modeling, and competitive analysis.
• Experience supporting rate filings and regulator communications.

Responsibilities

• Help lead design and implementation of pricing strategies aligned to profitability and growth.
• Oversee rate reviews and pricing model development across states and segments.
• Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, Reserving, and Claims to inform pricing decisions.
• Drive rate filing strategies with actuarial support and regulatory responses.
• Monitor loss ratios, retention, and conversion to adjust pricing as needed.
• Ensure compliance with actuarial standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop predictive models to improve product segmentation and pricing.
