Job summary

Varian, a Siemens Healthineers company, is seeking a Pre-Sales Software Planner to help cancer centers implement software solutions remotely from the US. You will lead discovery sessions, craft implementation plans, and define technical requirements with cross-functional teams.

You will assess IT environments, design topology, and present optimized recommendations to executives, CIOs, and clinical leaders, enabling smooth deployments and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of Project Management, Healthcare IT, Solution Architecture, Software Deployment, or Technical Implementation.
• Strong Healthcare IT experience with Visio and Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of network architecture, security, servers and enterprise IT environments.
• Excellent communication, organization and customer-facing consulting skills.
• Ability to work remotely within the Pacific Time Zone (PST).

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing discovery and planning sessions.
• Develop Software Introductory Implementation Plans (IIPs), project scope, timelines, assumptions and risks.
• Create system topology and infrastructure diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
• Evaluate networks, servers, security, cloud and virtualized environments.
• Present recommendations to IT teams, clinical leaders, CIOs and executives.
• Perform quote readiness reviews and ensure smooth handoffs to implementation teams.
