• Review and ensure completion of preoperative testing per guidelines.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgery, and teams to optimize readiness.
• Educate patients on preoperative instructions and perioperative expectations.
• Document assessments and communications in the EMR.
• Coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia regarding orders and documentation.
