Job summary

Pie Insurance seeks a Premium Auditor II to conduct comprehensive premium audits across diverse industries using mail, phone, and virtual platforms. You’ll review payroll records, tax returns, and financial documents to ensure accurate policy coverage.

You’ll apply NCCI, PAAS, and state provisions, document findings, and communicate with insureds while maintaining security and compliance. Remote work within the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years conducting Workers Compensation premium audits.
• Knowledge of NCCI classification systems and state bureau requirements.
• Experience working directly with business owners and financial personnel.
• Multi-state audit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct premium audits via mail, phone, and virtual platforms across diverse industries.
• Review payroll records, tax returns, 1099s, and supporting financial documents with meticulous detail.
• Analyze business operations to identify exposures and ensure proper policy coverage.
• Identify and apply classification codes using NCCI guidelines, PAAS, and state-specific requirements.
• Document audit findings and prepare detailed audit worksheets.
• Ensure all audit work complies with established business rules and regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate with policyholders via phone, email, and virtual meetings to gather documentation.
• Guide insureds through document sharing and remote collaboration platforms.
• Utilize audit technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain security protocols for remote document review.
