Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager to lead the Preconstruction Group’s efforts from award to mobilization, coordinating scope, budget and schedule. You will manage project meetings, update schedules, and oversee bid packages and contract exhibits in a fully remote role.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction with strong communication, scheduling and estimating skills, and a proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, procurement and legal teams while

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience 5–8 years in project engineer or assistant superintendent roles.
• Strong leadership and remote-team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and industry tools such as Bluebeam Revu.
• Basic knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Strong organizational and people skills; detail-oriented.
• Able to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Preconstruction Group’s efforts with daily management and coordination from notice of award to mobilization.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements; prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain the CMiC system; prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, business development, accounting, construction and legal teams.
• Define and create LNTPs; manage procurement alignment with scope, budget and schedules.
• Provide timely reporting on cost forecasting and cost at completion.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
