Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies and updates patient and guarantor demographic data.
• Verifies insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization; follows up on appeals/denials.
• Contacts patient/provider when authorization is unsecured prior to service date.
• Escalates unresolved issues to appropriate channels.
• Maintains work queues and ensures quality and due diligence.
• Meets productivity, due diligence, and quality standards.
• Supports Intermountain Health mission and service behavior standards.
