Qualifications

• Proficiency in medical terminology and coding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies, enters, and updates patient demographic data.
• Verifies insurance eligibility, benefits, and prior authorizations; follows up on denials.
• Contacts patient/provider when authorization is unsecured prior to service.
• Escalates unresolved issues as needed.
• Maintains work queues and ensures quality and productivity.
• Adheres to mission, vision, and service standards.
