Responsibilities

• Verifies and updates patient and guarantor demographic data.
• Verifies insurance eligibility, benefits, and prior authorization; follows up on appeals/denials as requested.
• Contacts patient/provider when authorization is not secured prior to service date.
• Escalates unresolved issues to appropriate channels.
• Maintains department/work queues and ensures quality and productivity standards.
