Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with medical office workflows and EMR documentation.
• Ability to learn quality improvement methodologies.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in quality improvement methodologies to promote organizational change.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory programs including Meaningful Use, UDS, ACO, PCMH, and HEDIS.
• Assist with departmental QI initiatives: metric identification, interventions, evaluation and outcomes.
• Ability to assist with report generation and report evaluation.
• Reviews patient medical records and health care gap reports for accuracy.
• Support and train end users in Practice Management System and EMR.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate solutions to staff.
• Train staff on the Practice Management System and EMR.
• Other duties as assigned.
