Qualifikationen

• MD or DO degree required.
• Current or eligible NC MD/DO licensure required.
• Current DEA certificate required.
• Board Certification in Specialty preferred.
• Experience in medical office or FQHC preferred.
• Population health management experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Engages in patient-centered care for patients and families.
• Provides medical evaluation, treatment and consultation to clinic patients.
• Responds to emergencies and answers medical questions.
• Documents history, exam, assessment and plan for each patient.
• Provides orders for refills, medications, tests, and referrals.
• Reviews test results and coordinates follow-up with patients.
• Supervises patient care by home health, nursing homes, or hospice.
• Available to patients via staff to answer questions about care.
• Completes paperwork to comply with insurance and reimbursement guidelines.
• Supervises midlevel providers and delegates clinical duties.
• Participates in quality improvement by peer chart review and feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Medical Director.
