The role collaborates with school administrators, counselors, teachers, and IT staff to support instructional and operational needs. Remote position within the Ohio region, with focus on FERPA compliance and data governance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with PowerSchool (administration, data management, or reporting).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to train non-technical users.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, data analysis tools, and report creation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the district's PowerSchool administrator, managing configuration, user accounts, security permissions, and system updates.
• Troubleshoot PowerSchool issues; coordinate with vendors.
• Customize PowerSchool settings, reports, and data fields to meet district needs.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of student information in PowerSchool; submit state/federal data collections.
• Provide training and end-user support for staff; create guides and training materials.
• Collaborate with IT and instructional teams to integrate PowerSchool with third-party systems; monitor performance and identify enhancements.
