Job summary

PSC, Power System Studies Consultant, USA, is seeking a results-driven electrical engineer to join our expanding US team. You will perform advanced power system analyses, model networks, and support generation interconnection studies for clients in generation, transmission, and renewable energy.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelors or Masters in EE, 4+ years in power systems, 2+ years PJM Interconnection experience, and proficiency with PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerWorld, DigSILENT, or PSLF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a focus on power systems.
• 4+ years of experience in power systems engineering.
• 2 years of PJM Interconnection experience.
• Experience with network simulation software (PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerWorld, DigSILENT, PSLF).

Responsibilities

• Perform power system analysis and network modeling to meet client specifications.
• Conduct studies in generation interconnection, voltage stability, arc-flash energy, insulation coordination, and power station design.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and deliverables.
• Collaborate with a global team to execute studies and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Manage client relationships and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Support business development and identify new client opportunities.
