Giga Energy in the United States is seeking a Power Systems Analyst to lead the data center expansion by identifying excess capacity and securing interconnection points, collaborating with utilities and internal teams to build a robust pipeline.

The ideal candidate understands utility interconnection processes, grid interconnection requirements, and models utility electrical rates to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in electrical infrastructure engineering with modeling and analysis.
• Strong power systems architecture and grid interconnection knowledge.
• Experience navigating utility processes to secure interconnection points.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure basics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple interconnection projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Capacity planning to expand grid capacity for future data center projects.
• Technical assessments of interconnection points.
• Prepare load interconnection applications with conceptual diagrams.
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, construction, land, and external partners.
• Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Document interconnection processes and milestones.
