Job summary
Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Power Systems Consultant based in the United States. You will contribute to development and validation of advanced electrical grid models and analyze complex power transmission systems for utilities, generators, and operators.
You will perform steady-state, dynamic, and transient simulations, support renewable integration, and translate results into client-ready reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on power and energy systems.
- At least 1 year of relevant power systems experience including internships.
- Experience with power flow, transient stability, or electromagnetic transients.
- Proficiency with power system analysis tools (PSS/E, PSLF, PowerWorld, PSCAD, Python).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to travel ~10% and work remotely in contiguous US.
Responsibilities
- Conduct power systems analysis with steady-state, dynamic, and transient studies.
- Develop and validate electrical models for generation facilities and grid components.
- Run large-scale simulations to assess network behavior and propose solutions.
- Prepare technical reports and client presentations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and project stakeholders.
- Support grid planning, operations, and renewable integration studies.
