Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior Power Systems Consultant based in the United States to advance grid reliability and resilience through PSCAD EMT simulations.

You will lead complex studies, develop PSCAD models for inverter-based resources, coordinate with utilities and developers, and deliver technical reports while working remotely from the contiguous United States.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; PhD preferred.
• At least five years of PSCAD and EMT experience.
• Proven ability to develop, validate, and interpret PSCAD models for inverter-based resources and storage.

Mansioni

• Lead advanced power systems studies: EMT, dynamic stability, and grid code compliance.
• Develop and validate PSCAD models for renewables, storage, and grid-connected power electronics.
• Perform EMT studies to assess fault ride-through and harmonics.
• Analyze power flow and dynamic stability using PSS/E.
• Support interconnection and facility studies for new generation.
• Ensure compliance with NERC standards and regional planning criteria.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients.
