Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electric Power Systems or Electrical Engineering preferred; BS considered with relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in US or P.Eng in Canada preferred or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 2 years in North American energy market analysis; 6+ years for senior role.
• Programming in Python or similar language; data analysis tools (Excel, R).
• Ability to travel <20% within NA and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis for bulk transmission, distributed generation, and power quality studies.
• Write engineering reports documenting study results with clarity and conciseness.
• Support studies in transmission planning, renewable integration, and grid reliability.
