Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, seeks a Portfolio Consulting Manager in the United States to lead a team of power systems consultants delivering advanced technical solutions to utilities, RTOs, and energy asset owners.

This fully remote leadership role combines people management, client development, and project delivery across grid analysis, interconnection, and grid code compliance. You will drive proposals, coach engineers, and ensure quality and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Power and Energy Systems.
• 10+ years in power systems analysis for utilities or energy sectors.
• Proven leadership of technical teams with coaching and growth focus.
• Expert in PSS/E; familiarity with TSAT, TARA, PSLF, PowerWorld, PSCAD desirable.
• Strong knowledge of NERC standards and RTO/ regional planning criteria.
• Proven consulting and business development capabilities; strong proposals.
• Effective project management with budget, scope, and schedule control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client relationship acumen.
• Willingness to travel ~10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the consulting team, set expectations, and support career growth.
• Expand services across power grid analysis, interconnection, and grid code compliance.
• Build trusted relationships with utilities, RTOs, and asset owners.
• Oversee technical and commercial proposals in response to client inquiries.
• Manage engagements from planning through delivery, monitoring scope and budgets.
• Provide technical direction on studies: stability, dynamics, interconnection assessments.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Promote learning, best practices, and continuous improvement across the team.
