Job summary

Siemens is recruiting for a Grid Software Internship Program as a Power Systems Technical Consultant beginning May or June 2027. This fully remote role offers exposure to power system analysis, modeling, and optimization for industrial, commercial, and utility clients.

You will work with industry-standard tools and collaborate across teams to deliver client projects while advancing your engineering education and practical experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in Electrical/Power Systems engineering.
• Experience with electrical power systems: generation, transmission, distribution, protection.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Available for remote 12-week internship, 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of technical consulting solutions for power systems projects.
• Model and simulate electrical power systems using industry tools.
• Analyze system performance data and contribute to grid modernization efforts.
• Develop technical proposals, reports, and client-facing deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay updated on industry trends.
