Job summary

Siemens Grid Software Internship seeks a Power Systems Technical Consultant Intern to assist in power system analysis, modeling, and optimization for industrial and utility clients. The role emphasizes remote work and collaboration with energy experts.

You will gain hands-on experience with PowerWorld, PSS/E, PSLF, ETAP, and DIgSILENT, while contributing to technical proposals and client deliverables during a 12-week program. Project work supports modernization and reliability initiatives.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Energy Engineering, Energy Systems, or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of technical consulting solutions for industrial, commercial, and utility clients through power system analysis, modeling, simulation, and optimization projects.
Assist in modeling and simulation of electrical power systems using industry-standard tools listed above.
Analyze system performance data and contribute to grid modernization initiatives.
Support development of technical proposals, reports, and client-facing deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and stay current with industry trends.
