Job summary

IEM is seeking a Power Solution Architect for the West Region (USA). This role leads the design and optimization of electrical power delivery systems across industrial, data center, and enterprise applications.

You will bridge engineering and commercial teams, drive digital transformation, and promote scalable, reliable power architectures. Responsibilities include pre-sales support, regional collaboration with Sales, and mentoring teams, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in power system architecture.
• Experience with electrical power-distribution OEM equipment.
• Knowledge of UL and IEEE standards.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Pre-Sales support and technical expertise for the West region.
• Collaborate with Sales and estimation/design teams on projects.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and technical documentation.
• Design scalable, standards-compliant power systems.
• Evaluate components based on technical and commercial criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Mentor teams and support training to scale expertise.
• Influence technical and commercial strategies to differentiate solutions.
