Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Power Solutions Architect to design medium- and low‑voltage power delivery for industrial, enterprise, and data center customers. This role blends engineering with customer engagement to influence technical solutions and commercial strategy.

Collaborate with sales, engineering, and leadership to develop power solutions, evaluate new technologies, support proposals, and serve as a subject‑matter expert in customer discussions. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• 5+ years of experience in power systems architecture or power distribution design.
• Experience with OEMs serving electrical power distribution markets.
• Strong knowledge of switchgear and switchboards; travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable electrical power distribution architectures for industrial and data center applications.
• Provide technical leadership during customer meetings, proposals, and solution development.
• Collaborate with sales teams to support business development, quoting, and technical presentations.
• Analyze project specifications and guide engineering teams toward optimal solutions.
• Evaluate power system components and recommend technologies based on performance and reliability.
• Represent the organization at customer meetings, industry events, and technical discussions.
