Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 4 years of direct experience with power system studies on utility-scale renewable projects.
• Experience with PSS/E, ETAP and PSCAD or equivalents.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE and CIGRE.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities with a focus on achieving results.
• Team player with interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel within North America.

Responsibilities

• Perform power system studies (internal to the plant) including load flow, short circuit, insulation coordination, TOV, arc flash and harmonics.
• Perform power system studies (external to the plant) related to interconnection to ensure compliance with interconnection requirements and NERC standards.
• Support system studies projects throughout the lifecycle from technical bid/proposal to execution, reports, client meetings and close-out.
• Contribute to the delivery of projects, delivering on time and to budget.
• Work closely with North America and global teams.
