Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Power Systems Engineer in San Jose, CA, with remote work option within the United States.

You will design and optimize spacecraft power subsystems, develop budgets, and work across multiple engineering teams to meet mission requirements. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in power subsystems or electrical engineering, experience with MBSE, and familiarity with requirements tooling.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• BS degree in engineering or STEM; Master’s may count for two years of experience.
• 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in power subsystems or electrical engineering.
• Experience performing system engineering activities (requirements analysis, interface control documentation, concept of operations development, Use Case development, operational details, and developing Test Plans).
• Familiarity with a Requirements Tool.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimize power system selection and design.
• Create power budgets & provide inputs for power subsystem sizing.
• Collaborate with Database, Harness Thermal, Flight Software, and other subsystem engineers.
• Resolve issues during AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) test phases.
