Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems is seeking a Power Subsystems Engineer in San Jose, CA (remote within the U.S.). You will lead power subsystem requirements, design trades, and specify tests for spacecraft power architectures.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to deliver feasible power solutions for diverse missions. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in power/Electrical engineering and familiarity with requirements tools; remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
• BS in engineering or STEM; advanced degree counts toward experience.
• 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in power subsystems.
• Experience performing system engineering activities (requirements analysis, interface control, COOP, use cases, test plans).
• Familiarity with a Requirements Tool.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimize power system selection and design.
• Create power budgets and inputs for subsystem sizing.
• Collaborate with other subsystem engineers (Database, Harness Thermal, Flight Software).
• Resolve issues during AIT test phases.
