Job summary

IEM is seeking a Power Solution Architect for the Central Region USA to design and optimize electrical power delivery systems across industrial, data center, and enterprise applications. You will bridge engineering and commercial teams to drive innovation and digital transformation.

The role emphasizes scalable architectures, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and leadership in innovation to differentiate IEM solutions. Travel is required; remote work is available within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's degree or PE license preferred.
• 5+ years in power system architecture with experience in electrical power-distribution OEM equipment.
• Expertise in UL, IEEE standards and industry practices; strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with microgrid applications and power equipment sales or commercial collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales Support: partner with Sales across the region to provide technical expertise during business development and proposal efforts.
• System Architecture & Design: develop scalable, standards-compliant power system architectures meeting performance and reliability goals.
• Product & Technology Collaboration: evaluate components and recommend design optimizations.
• Cross-Functional Engagement: collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering teams.
• Thought Leadership & Enablement: represent IEM at events and mentor teams.
• Strategic Impact: influence technical and commercial strategies and advocate for digital transformation.
