IEM's Power Solutions Architect - West Region USA leads design and optimization of electrical power delivery systems for industrial, data center, and enterprise applications. This role bridges engineering and commercial teams to drive innovation and digital transformation across the organization.

The position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, development of scalable architectures, and leadership in defining technical and commercial strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years in power system architecture.
• Experience with electrical power-distribution OEM equipment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Microgrid applications experience is a plus.
• Vendor engagement and innovation leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales Support: collaborate with Sales in the West region to provide technical expertise during business development and proposals.
• System Architecture & Design: develop scalable, standards-compliant power system architectures meeting performance and reliability goals.
• Product & Technology Collaboration: evaluate components and recommend design optimizations.
• Cross-Functional Engagement: work with electrical, mechanical, and thermal teams and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
• Thought Leadership & Enablement: represent IEM at events and mentor teams on solutions to scale expertise.
• Strategic Impact: influence technical and commercial strategies and advocate for digital transformation.
