Job summary

accel bi corporation is seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Data Integration Developer to design and implement automated data-ingestion, transformation, validation, and orchestration for a financial forecasting modernization initiative.

The successful candidate will help integrate data collection from various application systems with automated, repeatable, governed, and supportable data preparation using Microsoft technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data integration, ETL, or data-engineering experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Power Query experience.
• Microsoft Power Platform experience.
• SQL and relational data modeling experience.
• Strong understanding of data quality, validation, reconciliation, and exception handling.
• Experience integrating multiple enterprise data sources.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing source-data structures and spreadsheet-based data-preparation processes.
• Design and develop automated data-ingestion processes.
• Develop and maintain Power BI Dataflows.
• Develop advanced Power Query transformations.
• Configure SharePoint Online-based controlled data landing and intake processes.
• Standardize incoming files, schemas, structures, and naming conventions.
• Implement data cleansing, standardization, reshaping, joining, and enrichment.
• Create reusable curated datasets for forecasting and reporting.
• Implement data-quality validation rules.
• Implement exception handling, error logging, and monitoring.
• Configure scheduled and event-driven refresh processes.
• Develop Power Automate workflows for data-processing orchestration, status tracking, and notifications.
• Integrate Dataverse business data with analytical datasets.
• Troubleshoot integration and refresh failures.
• Support system, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
• Develop technical documentation, data mappings, support procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Support production deployment and post-go-live hypercare.
