Job summary

accel bi corporation is seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect / Technical Lead to support a Washington State public-sector financial forecasting modernization initiative.

You will lead the design of a secure, governed, scalable Microsoft Power Platform solution spanning Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online and Entra ID, with data integration and governance at the core.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise application or solution architecture experience.
• 5+ years of Microsoft Power Platform architecture and implementation experience.
• Expert knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong data architecture and enterprise integration experience.
• Experience designing role-based security and identity-management solutions.
• Experience with Power Platform environment strategy and ALM.
• Experience modernizing complex Excel or legacy business applications.
• Strong technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and assessment of existing forecasting processes.
• Design architecture for data, integration, analytics, security, and deployment.
• Translate requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Establish architecture standards for Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint Online.
• Define environment strategy and ALM processes.
• Define Microsoft Entra ID authentication, authorization, and RBAC.
• Ensure architecture meets WA security, accessibility, auditability, and governance.
• Provide architecture oversight for enterprise financial-data integration.
• Guide modernization of Excel-based forecasting logic into governed components.
• Conduct architecture and code/design reviews.
• Support risk management, performance optimization, deployment, and production transition.
• Develop and review architecture documentation, runbooks, and procedures.
• Provide knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.
• Collaborate with management, developers, analysts, testers, SMEs, and stakeholders.
