Job summary

accel bi corporation is seeking a Power Platform QA / Test & Accessibility Lead to drive quality assurance, testing, and accessibility validation for a financial forecasting modernization initiative. You will lead testing across Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, and data integrations, ensuring accuracy of financial calculations against the existing Excel model.

You will coordinate with business SMEs, developers, and data specialists to verify migrated rules and calculations,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software quality assurance and testing experience.
• Experience testing Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Hands-on testing of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of web and application accessibility testing.
• Experience coordinating UAT with business users and SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall project Test Strategy and Test Plan.
• Define testing standards, processes, entry/exit criteria, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop detailed test cases and test scenarios based on requirements.
• Establish RTM traceability from requirements to tests.
• Coordinate testing across development, integration, reporting, security, accessibility, and business teams.
• Maintain test evidence and QA documentation.
• Provide regular testing status and defect metrics to management.
• Lead parallel validation between Excel model and Power Platform solution.
• Conduct end-to-end system testing across all components.
• Test access controls and security permissions.
• Validate WCAG-compliant accessibility throughout the product lifecycle.
• Prepare UAT plans and coordinate with business SMEs.
