Job summary

Leidos is seeking a senior electrical engineer to perform design, interconnection reviews, and client-facing activities in a fully remote role within the United States. The job emphasizes power generation, substations, and transmission projects with opportunities to engage with private equity, infrastructure, and financial clients.

Required is a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with extensive experience in power systems; PE licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; eight+ years in electrical operation, maintenance and/or design of power generation and substation assets.
• Experience with AC/DC electrical systems, controls and protection relaying.
• Experience maintaining client relations with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design and interconnection review of power plant, substation, and transmission projects and prepare reports.
• Attend power plant, substation, and transmission project meetings to confirm status of site E&IC construction and operation and maintenance.
• Manage client engagements and ongoing relationships with clients including private equity, infrastructure, hedge funds, and financial advisors.
• Present work product results and findings to client executives.
• Conduct business development activities with clients and prospects.
• Support projects and project team members working independently and with others.
• Develop and expand key client relationships.
